Konrad Klapheck, born February 10, 1935 in Düsseldorf, is a renowned German painter and graphic artist. He is considered one of the most important representatives of the "New Objectivity" and "Hyperrealism". Klapheck developed a unique visual language in which he depicted mechanical objects and everyday objects in a precise and detailed manner. After studying at the Düsseldorf Art Academy, where he was influenced by renowned artists such as Joseph Beuys and Gerhard Richter, Klapheck began his career as an artist in the 1960s. His works often feature machines such as sewing machines, typewriters, irons, and other technical devices, which he depicts with an almost photographic quality. Klapheck's artworks are characterized by a subtle irony and a surreal atmosphere.
